The routine functions of the Building Division include, but are not limited to the following: Answer questions from builders, homeowners and other regarding building codes, construction regulation and permit requirements Review plans for code compliance Develop and maintain forms, documents and files Issue permits for signs Provide Staff support to the Code Enforcement Board Take inspections related to the issuance of business license Collect permit fees Issue Certificates of Occupancy
